On behalf of our client, ABY Manufacturing PLC, we are hiring an HR Manager to join the team!

Purpose of the job
The HR Manager is responsible for building the HR foundation of a rapidly expanding factory environment, including workforce planning, recruitment systems, HR policies, organizational structure, performance management systems, employee relations, compliance, training programs, and overall people strategy.
Key responsibilities      
– Build and implement the company’s HR structure, systems, policies, and procedures.
– Develop scalable HR frameworks suitable for a growing manufacturing workforce.
– Establish organizational structures, reporting lines, grading systems, and workforce planning strategies.
– Develop employee handbooks, workplace rules, disciplinary procedures, and HR compliance systems.
– Lead large-scale recruitment for factory workers, supervisors, engineers, administration, and management staff.
– Design and manage structured hiring, onboarding, and probation processes.
– Create and implement KPI and performance appraisal systems across departments.
– Implement performance evaluation systems and accountability frameworks.
– Develop employee engagement, retention, and motivation initiatives.
– Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and employment regulations.
– Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations professionally.
– Oversee payroll coordination, attendance systems, leave management, and HR records.
– Support implementation and optimization of ERP/HR systems (Odoo Preferred).
Job Requirements 
Education               – Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
– Master’s degree or HR certification is an advantage.
 Experience    – Minimum 7–10 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or large operational environments.
– Proven experience establishing or restructuring HR systems and processes.
– Experience managing recruitment for large employee bases.
