Position: Finance Manager
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA are highly preferred.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Previous experience in a multi-industry organization or group/holding company is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Ethiopian tax regulations, and applicable financial reporting frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Peachtree, SAP, or other ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Required Skills
- Financial and account management.
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles (GAAP), IFRS, and ERP systems.
- Proficiency in using Peachtree Accounting, including recording transactions, posting entries, and closing accounts.
- IFRS reporting and compliance.
- ACCA certification is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills
- Corporate finance and business valuation.
- Experience working with IFMIS and IFRIS systems.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities.
