The Ethiopian Statistical Service (ESS) – Ambo Branch Office has announced new contract employment opportunities for qualified professionals and fresh graduates to support the 2019 E.C. Important Requirements
Applicants should carefully note the following:
- Previous experience in Agricultural Sample Surveys conducted by the Ethiopian Statistical Service is considered an advantage.
- Candidates must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in both Afan Oromo and Amharic.
- Applicants must present their original educational documents together with one photocopy during registration.
- Those assigned to fieldwork after training are expected to complete the full contract period.
- Graduates from private higher education institutions must submit educational credentials authenticated by the Education and Training Authority (ETA).
- Former ESS Ambo Branch Office employees should provide an official clearance letter.
- Applicants must be physically fit and willing to travel long distances on foot to reach survey locations.
- A valid Ethiopian National ID is mandatory.
- Only work experience gained through surveys conducted by the Ethiopian Statistical Service will be recognized as relevant experience.
- Applicants must present a guarantee or surety worth ETB 50,000 during the recruitment process.
