Export Documentation Officer

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, verify, and process export documents accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with customer, bank, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments, shipping lines, and freight forwarders regarding shipments.
Handle L/C documentation and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain proper records and filing of export documents.
Follow up on shipment status and document delivery to customers and banks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in export documentation and international trade operations.
Strong knowledge of export procedures, Incoterms, Letters of Credit (L/C), shipping documents, and customs regulations.
Experience preparing and reviewing export documents, including:
Commercial Invoice
Packing List
Certificate of Origin
Bill of Lading / Air Waybill
Insurance Certificate
Inspection Certificates and other related documents
Familiarity with banking procedures and documentary collections under L/C transactions.
Ability to coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, banks, customs authorities, and overseas customers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Knowledge of ERP systems and electronic trade platforms is an added advantage.
Good command of written and spoken English.
