Safaricom Ethiopia is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join its team for the following position. The company is looking for individuals who are passionate about technology, innovation, and delivering reliable digital solutions.

Position: DevOps Engineer

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Professional certifications in public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with Kubernetes certification
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working in a DevOps role
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages including Python, PowerShell, and Bash
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD
• Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault and Kubernetes management tools like Headlamp
• Experience working with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform and Ansible
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across different teams
