Job Objective
The trainee will support the development of high-quality and innovative digital learning content for Bank of Abyssinia employees. The role involves supporting the analysis, design, development, and implementation of e-learning materials.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Develop an understanding of the Bank's products, services, and operational activities. Learn applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. Understand the Bank's work culture, values, and code of conduct. Maintain positive working relationships with employees and customers. Develop an understanding of customer needs, team objectives, and business goals. Learn operational processes through practical work, peer learning, and experience sharing. Participate actively in training related to assigned responsibilities. Take initiative in seeking new challenges and responsibilities. Assist with creating interactive, responsive, and gamified e-learning content using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern authoring tools. Support the production of digital learning materials using tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and similar software. Participate, under supervision, in the use of AI-supported tools for content creation, multimedia enhancement, personalization, accessibility, and learning analytics. Work with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and IT teams during course design, development, testing, and deployment. Assist with uploading, organizing, and maintaining learning materials on the Learning Management System (LMS) and digital content repositories. Support the use of user experience (UX) and learner-centered design principles to make learning content accessible, engaging, and easy to use. Contribute to the development of graphics, illustrations, animations, and templates that meet branding and instructional requirements. Support video recording, editing, and post-production for e-learning and training programs in studio and field environments. Assist with the proper use and basic operation of multimedia studio equipment, smart classrooms, and control-room resources. Implement storyboards prepared by senior staff in accordance with instructional design models and learning objectives. Support the creation of gamified learning activities and micro-learning content within established timelines and quality standards. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to support the implementation and use of digital learning programs. Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
