Available Positions
1️⃣ Water & Climate Officer
Education: BSc/MSc in Water Supply & Environmental Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields. Experience: Minimum 5 years (MSc) or 7 years (BSc) in WASH programming, rural water supply systems, and infrastructure development. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and engineering support for rural water service providers. Strengthen climate‑resilient water safety planning and water quality management. Support infrastructure optimization, O&M, and sustainability of rural utilities. Collaborate with local government, service providers, and communities. Generate technical evidence to inform programme improvement and policy advocacy. Location: Addis Ababa (North Mecha Programme Office). Contract Type: Fixed Term. Salary: Competitive with benefits.
2️⃣ Research & Advocacy Officer
Education: BSc/MSc in Development Studies, Public Policy, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Economics, Public Health, WASH‑related fields, or related disciplines. Experience: Minimum 5 years (MSc) or 7 years (BSc) in advocacy, policy engagement, research, or WASH programming. Key Responsibilities: Lead evidence‑based advocacy and research under the Tap to Policy and CLIMB Projects. Generate, synthesize, and translate evidence into actionable policy messages. Facilitate multi‑stakeholder engagement and policy dialogues. Influence government, civil society, and development partners to prioritize climate‑resilient WASH. Support integration of WASH into national climate frameworks (NDCs, NAPs). Location: Addis Ababa (Country Programme Office). Contract Type: Fixed Term. Salary: Competitive with benefits.
