🔹 1) Warehouse Assistant, G‑5
Job No.: 593146 Level: G‑5 Category: Supply Management Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Role Summary
The Warehouse Assistant will manage the day‑to‑day receipt and dispatch of UNICEF supplies , ensuring proper storage, cargo handling, and security measures.
Key Responsibilities
Manage UNICEF warehouse facilities and operations. Supervise receipt and dispatch of consignments. Conduct regular physical inventory counts. Prepare dispatch schedules and coordinate transport logistics. Maintain accurate records in VISION ERP . Ensure supplies are distributed using FIFO/LIFO/FEFO methods.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary education, preferably with technical or university courses in logistics, supply chain, or related fields. Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or supply chain. Fluency in English required; knowledge of another UN language or local language desirable.

🔹 2) Senior Driver, G‑3
Job No.: 592561 Level: G‑3 Category: Transportation Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Role Summary
The Senior Driver provides secure and professional driving services to the Head of Office and senior officials, ensuring protocol compliance, safety, and logistical support.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the Head of Office and senior guests with punctuality and discretion. Liaise with UNDSS, protocol units, and security teams. Maintain vehicles, conduct daily checks, and ensure readiness. Operate Vehicle Tracking Systems (VTS) and UN Mobility Booking Tools. Train and mentor junior drivers on safety and professional standards. Provide light administrative and logistical support.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary education. Minimum 3 years’ experience in professional driving, preferably with international organizations. Strong knowledge of road safety, vehicle maintenance, and protocol engagement. Fluency in English required; knowledge of another UN language or local language is an asset.
