Get-As International PLC is a well-established Ethiopian company founded in the early 1980s and officially incorporated in 1994. Over the years, the company has experienced steady growth under the leadership of its founder, Mr. Getu Gelete. It is one of the leading conglomerates in Ethiopia engaged in importing a wide range of durable goods and food products.

The company operates in several business areas, including real estate, trading, and cross-border transportation. Currently, Get-As International is looking to recruit qualified and motivated professionals to join its growing team in various positions.

1. Transport & General Service Head

Qualification:
BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields from a recognized university.

Experience:

  • 8 years relevant experience for diploma holders, including 4 years in a senior role
  • 4 years relevant experience for degree holders, including 2 years in a senior position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily transportation operations
  • Supervise and coordinate drivers’ activities
  • Monitor transport performance including delivery time and cost efficiency
  • Handle emergencies and operational issues
  • Manage company vehicles properly, including insurance, road fund, and other renewals
  • Supervise fleet management activities
  • Prepare periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual)
  • Plan and coordinate general administrative services such as facility management and office support
  • Manage cleaning (janitorial) services
  • Oversee contracts with service providers and vendors
  • Track and renew service agreements on time

2. Senior Human Resource Officer

Qualification:
BA Degree in Management, Business Management, or related fields from a recognized university.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a senior HR position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle recruitment, selection, and onboarding of employees
  • Maintain accurate employee records in line with company and legal requirements
  • Prepare payroll inputs and ensure timely salary processing
  • Manage employee files and documentation
  • Prepare periodic HR reports
  • Ensure strong communication and writing skills
  • Use computer systems effectively (Excel, Word, databases, Access, etc.)
  • Oversee overall HR functions and activities

3. Driver

Qualification:
Completed 10th grade.

Experience:
At least 4 years of relevant driving experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep assigned vehicles clean, safe, and in good condition
  • Transport staff and management safely
  • Ensure proper daily vehicle cleaning and maintenance
  • Manage time effectively and follow schedules

4. Executive Secretary

Qualification:
University degree or diploma in Secretarial Science, Office Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience:
Minimum of 8 years experience, including 4 years in a senior role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage executive schedules and appointments
  • Attend meetings and prepare minutes
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications
  • Organize travel arrangements for executives
  • Manage confidential documents securely
  • Monitor office supplies and coordinate procurement
  • Maintain both digital and physical records in an organized manner

5. Office Assistant

Qualification:
Degree or diploma in Secretarial Science, Office Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience:
At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle office requests and direct them to the appropriate department
  • Prepare documents using MS Word templates
  • Operate office machines such as printers and fax machines
  • Manage correspondence and ensure proper follow-up
  • Monitor office supplies and inventory

6. Cost & Budget Head

Qualification:
BA Degree in Accounting and Finance from a recognized university.

Experience:
Minimum of 6 years experience, including 4 years in a senior position. Experience in real estate or construction is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual budgets and strategic financial plans
  • Analyze and compare departmental budgets with actual financial performance
  • Evaluate cost performance and financial outcomes
  • Review and approve cost analysis and budgeting requirements

7. Customer Service Officer (CSO)

Qualification:
BA Degree in Finance and Accounting.

Experience:
At least 2 years of relevant experience (experience in a finance institution is an advantage).

8. Authorizer

Qualification:
BA Degree in Finance and Accounting.

Experience:
At least 2 years of experience (banking experience is preferred).
