Key Responsibilities
The Teaching Assistant will support teachers and students with classroom and learning activities, including:
Assisting teachers with lesson preparation Preparing classroom materials and equipment Tracking student attendance and class schedules Reviewing classroom material with students who experience learning challenges Supporting small-group remedial teaching and learning activities Supervising students during field trips and school activities Ensuring classrooms are safe and tidy before classes begin Assisting with grading assignments and communicating student progress to parents Supporting students with adjustment, learning, and socialization Reporting potential behavioral issues to teachers
