Job Summary
The IT Supervisor will provide technical support and help maintain Hilton Addis Ababa's IT infrastructure, including computer systems, servers, networks, software, user accounts, backups, and security systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to team members and resolve hardware and software issues. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, servers, and network equipment. Manage user accounts and permissions while maintaining appropriate access control and data security. Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures. Install and update antivirus and other security software. Assist with procurement of IT equipment and software. Train employees on IT best practices and support compliance with IT policies. Stay informed about emerging IT trends and technologies. Collaborate with other IT team members on larger technology projects.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field . Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support or a similar role. Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications. Hands-on knowledge of hotel operating software , including systems such as OPERA and Sun . Knowledge of network administration and hardware maintenance . Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets. CCNA/CCNP certification is advantageous. Adaptability, teamwork, and commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
