Job Description
The Customer Service Agent / Cashier will support customers and carry out cashiering, record-keeping, inventory-related, and basic warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers and assist with storage and service-related needs. Respond professionally to customer questions, requests, and complaints. Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate cash records. Prepare and maintain customer and transaction records. Coordinate storage bookings, receiving, collection, and release of items. Receive incoming items and check them against relevant documents. Verify item quantities, condition, weight in kilograms, and other required information. Apply basic FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and LIFO (Last-In, First-Out) procedures where applicable. Ensure items are properly identified, recorded, and stored. Enter and update customer and inventory information in the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Upload and maintain relevant warehouse and inventory information in the WMS. Assist with inventory checks and ensure records correspond with physical items. Coordinate with warehouse personnel on receiving, storage, and dispatch activities. Maintain proper documentation and filing of records. Provide customer service and support a positive customer experience. Follow company policies, warehouse procedures, and safety requirements. Perform other duties related to customer service, cashiering, and basic warehouse operations.
Qualification and Experience
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Previous experience in customer service, cashiering, warehousing, inventory, or a similar role is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle cash and records accurately. Basic understanding of FIFO/LIFO and inventory handling. Comfortable working with weights, quantities, and item records. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn WMS/inventory systems. Good data-entry and record-keeping skills. Professional, reliable, organized, and customer-oriented. Ability to work effectively with customers and warehouse teams.
