Position: DevOps Engineer
Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
Professional certifications in public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Kubernetes certification or relevant experience is an advantage.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role.
Required Skills
Applicants should demonstrate experience with:
Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting. CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD. HashiCorp Vault. Kubernetes management tools such as Headlamp. AWS cloud services. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform and Ansible. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
