Role Overview
The Video Editor will combine videography and editing skills to produce professional‑quality videos for training programs, marketing, fundraising, and brand campaigns. The role focuses on storytelling and social behavior change communication, capturing farmer stories that highlight One Acre Fund’s impact.
Key Responsibilities
Capture high‑quality video and audio using DSLR and phone cameras. Coordinate and direct video shoots across countries of operation. Build storyboards and scripts, edit videos, and add subtitles in multiple languages. Create bespoke motion graphics and re‑cut videos for different purposes. Conduct interviews to elicit engaging, emotive stories from farmers. Manage freelancers and donor‑selected video crews. Organize and maintain One Acre Fund’s video archive. Develop and manage the video shot schedule.
Qualifications
Professional videography and editing skills. Strong storytelling and reporting ability. Proficiency in DSLR cameras, audio equipment, and Adobe Premiere Pro . Experience in motion graphics and subtitling. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 5–9 years of relevant professional experience.
