Role description
Nib Insurance Company invites qualified applicants for the following positions.
Nib Insurance Company (NIC) was established by 658 shareholders with an authorized capital of Birr 50.0 million and a Paid-Up Capital of Birr 14.0 million in May 02, 2002 with 4 branches in Addis Ababa and a total staff size of not more than 50.
Currently, the paid up capital has reached to Birr 250 million and the number of shareholders increased to 1,014. NIC provides both General (Non-Life) Insurance and Life Assurance Services to its clients.
Position 1: Information Technology Support Officer
- Education:
- B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Information Technology or MIS or in related fields
- Applicants must be graduates of 2024/25 G.C or 2017 E.C and 2025/26 G.C or 2018 E.C and who scored passing mark in the exit exam
- Experience: None
- Job Grade: V
Terms of Employment: Permanent, after successful completion of probationary period.

- Education:
- BA Degree in Accounting or Accounting and Finance or Management or in related fields

- Job Grade: V

- Experience: 4 years relevant experience, of which 2 years as Underwriting Officer II or Claims Officer II or in a similar position
- Job Grade: VII

Position 4: Senior Ethics, Risk and Compliance Officer
- Education: BA Degree in Banking and Insurance or Management or Accounting or Economics or in related fields
- Experience: 4 years relevant experience in risk management and compliance or in auditing or in finance or in underwriting or in claims management
- Job Grade: VII
