Role description

Médecins du Monde (MdM) or Doctors of the World is an international humanitarian organization that provides medical care and support to vulnerable populations around the world. Founded in 1980, the organization’s mission is to ensure access to healthcare for all, regardless of race, religion, or political affiliation. MdM operates in over 40 countries including Ethiopia, delivering medical aid in crisis zones, conflict-affected areas, and areas of extreme poverty.

Our teams of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and support staff, work tirelessly to provide essential medical services, emergency relief, and long-term healthcare programs. MDM–France would like to invite energetic, disciplined, responsible female intern applicant to work under Human Resource department.

Position: Administrative/HR Intern

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BA degree in Management, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Law, or other related social science fields from a recognized institution.
  • Fresh graduates: zero years of work experience Previous Experience in internship and Administrative Activity is an asset .
  • Basic understanding of office administration or organizational support functions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

SKILLS AND QUALITIES REQUIRED

  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn across different departments.
  • Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

LANGUAGES

  • Fluency in English and Amharic is required.
