Role description
The Marketing and Communications Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing and communication strategies to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and support business growth. The role includes managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, coordinating digital marketing campaigns, improving website visibility through SEO, preparing promotional materials, conducting market research, and maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders. The officer will develop monthly marketing action plans, track campaign performance, analyze results, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Additionally, the position requires building and maintaining the company’s brand image, supporting public relations activities, and ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing and communication channels.
Candidates should hold a degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, or a related field. Applicants must have proven experience in marketing, communications, social media management, and content creation. Strong knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, social media advertising, branding, and market research is required. The ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, creativity, analytical thinking, and the ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies. Experience with graphic design tools, website content management, photography, videography, and marketing analytics tools will be considered an advantage. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines are essential.
