Position: Program Intern
Role Summary
The Program Intern will support the design, implementation, and monitoring of research and evaluation projects. This role offers hands‑on experience in project coordination, proposal development, data management, and reporting within a leading consulting and research environment.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Support: Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities; maintain organized documentation. Research & Data Support: Conduct literature reviews, assist with data entry, cleaning, coding, and quality checks; provide logistical support for fieldwork. Reporting & Communication: Contribute to drafting and editing reports, briefs, and presentations; support internal communication and coordination. Learning & Development: Participate in team meetings, trainings, and capacity‑building activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Master’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Public Health, Education, Social Sciences, or related field. Demonstrated interest in research, monitoring & evaluation, or program implementation. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with statistical software (Stata, SPSS, R) or data collection tools (ODK, SurveyCTO) is an advantage. Strong writing and editing skills in English. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and Amharic required; knowledge of additional Ethiopian languages is an advantage. Analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and willingness to learn.
