Senior Auditor

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Taxation, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 2 years of directly related work experience.
Job Purpose
The Senior Auditor will help ensure that the company’s financial operations comply with internal policies, procedures, applicable laws, and regulations through financial audits and recommendations for corrective action.
Key Responsibilities
Design audit processes based on professional standards, company policies, business objectives, and applicable regulations. Plan financial audits by reviewing organizational objectives, processes, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. Identify risk areas and prepare audit scopes, objectives, and audit programs. Review financial data, balance sheets, and budgetary information for compliance and accuracy. Examine financial materials and procedures to identify errors, inefficiencies, or misuse. Verify account balances, holdings, and debt obligations using financial databases and other sources. Document audit processes, data sources, findings, and conclusions. Provide periodic updates to relevant internal teams regarding audit progress and developments. Develop and improve internal standards and practices to strengthen accounting accuracy and integrity. Support external audits when required. Analyze historical and current budgetary trends. Maintain professional knowledge through relevant development activities. Protect confidential and sensitive company information.
