Job summary
Leads the organization’s financial activities across multiple business units. This includes the design and execution of cost control mechanisms, annual financial statements, forecasting, profitability evaluations, and strategic financial modeling to ensure operational sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the financial management and budget planning processes, and offer insights and financial advice to the top management to help them make the best business decisions for the company.
Ensure proper management of cash and other current assets, which involves forecasting the cash inflows and outflows to ensure that there is neither shortage nor surplus of cash with the company.
Ensure that financial statements are prepared monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually and organize internal and external audit support programs.
Monitor to ensure that the company is paying its financial obligations such as paying taxes, loans on time.
Manage and execute the financial strategies concerning revenues, receivables, cashes, inventories, payables, disbursements, reconciliation of bank are carried out on time, and ensure that legal financial obligations are met at all times.
manage accurate financial records related to stock levels, purchases, and adjustments.
Ensure proper valuation of inventory and analyze cost fluctuations.
Track actual spending against budgeted amounts to prevent overspending.
Keep up-to-date on changes on financial laws and regulations with a special emphasis on tax laws.
Ensure staff members are getting necessary trainings to improve knowledge and skill to improve performance.
Competencies
Experience in manufacturing
Experience of IFRS
Practical experience in using ERP
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ related fields with a minimum of 10 years work experience in manufacturing or merchandise, out of which 4 years in the same position in Finance manager.
