Role description
Ethio-Life continued to be the ONLY specialized company in the life insurance business in the Ethiopian insurance industry until August, 2012 In consideration of the immense potentials and viability of the general insurance business emanating from the rapid economic growth of the country, shareholders of Ethio-Life were determined to expand the service of the company by including Non-life (general) insurance products into its business portfolio.
Position 1. Share and Investment Division Manager
- Qualification: BA/MA degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Investment & Securities Management or related field of studies from a recognized higher learning institution
- Work Experience: A minimum of 8/6 years of work experience for BA and Master degree holders respectively; out of which at least 4 years’ experience for first degree holders and 3 years work experience for Master degree holders in a senior/principal level in similar roles.
Diploma in insurance is an advantage and preferable
Additional qualities & competencies required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
- Basic knowledge of company claims policies and Procedures
- Very high dedication and hard-working capacity
- Basic knowledge of Share & Investment Management in insurance business
- Basic knowledge of finance policy and procedure & gov’t principles and regulations
- Dependable & Team player

Position 2. Accountant
- Qualification: BA degree in Accounting & Finance, Accounting or other related field of studies from a recognized higher learning institution
- Work Experience: A minimum of One (1) and above year service in business organization
Diploma in insurance is an advantage and preferable

Position 3. Senior Claim Officer
- Qualification: BA/BSC degree in Management, Accounting & Finance, statistics, Mathematics Business leadership, Marketing Management, Business Administration or other related field of studies from a recognized higher learning institution.
- Work Experience: A minimum of four(4) years of work experience in middle and officer level Claims roles
Diploma in insurance is an advantage and preferable
