Open Positions
Junior Finance and Administration Officer (JFAO) – Semera, Afar Qualification: BA in Accounting, Business Management, Financial Management, or related fields. Experience: Minimum 3 years (NGO experience preferred); supervisory experience is an advantage. Key Responsibilities: Ensure proper financial policies, procedures, and systems at field office level. Handle petty cash, bank reconciliations, and quarterly financial reports. Support budget preparation, expenditure tracking, and donor compliance. Manage property, office rent, supplies, and supervise support staff. Skills: QuickBooks/Peachtree proficiency, report writing, coordination, and time management. Senior RMNCAH‑N Officer – Jigjiga, Somali Region Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Public Health or Nursing. Experience: Minimum 6 years (Master’s) or 4 years (Bachelor’s) in RMNCAH‑N programs. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee RMNCAH‑N program implementation in Somali pastoralist communities. Provide advanced technical assistance, training, and mentorship for healthcare providers. Represent EngenderHealth in regional technical working groups (TWGs). Strengthen referral systems and coordinate with government and stakeholders. Skills: Leadership, project management, stakeholder networking, facilitation, and advanced communication. RMNCAH‑N Officer – Semera, Afar Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Public Health or Nursing. Experience: 5 years (Bachelor’s) or 3 years (Master’s) in RMNCAH‑N programs. Key Responsibilities: Manage and provide technical assistance for RMNCAH‑N programs in pastoralist communities. Conduct service readiness assessments, training, mentorship, and quality improvement. Strengthen referral networks among healthcare facilities. Coordinate field‑level activities, monitor progress, and document best practices. Skills: Project management, training facilitation, stakeholder coordination, and strong communication.
