EngenderHealth seeks a qualified Driver & Liaison Officer for its Integrated RMNCH+PPFP scale‑up project in Worabe, Central Ethiopia.
Job Summary
The Driver & Liaison Officer (DLO) will:
Drive and maintain organizational vehicles. Perform liaison duties including settlement of cash payments, utility bills, and delivery of project documents. Support distribution of medical supplies and equipment. Assist with customs clearance, procurement, and administrative tasks. Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate assigned vehicles, ensuring compliance with traffic rules and organizational policies. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform minor repairs, and oversee scheduled servicing. Record official trips and maintain log sheets. Ensure vehicles are equipped with safety tools and first aid kits. Distribute letters, packages, and project documents. Assist with utility bill settlements and event payments. Support procurement of office supplies and training materials. Document events (photos, videos) as required. Perform other liaison duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Secondary school completion plus a Diploma in Automotive Technology from a recognized institution. Valid driving license. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a driver and liaison officer, preferably with NGOs. Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook). Fluency in English and Amharic; knowledge of local language in Worabe is desirable.
