1. Corporate Logistics & Transportation Sector

Dashen Bank recognizes that its operational efficiency relies heavily on a highly capable, safety-conscious, and technically proficient driving fleet. The bank is currently seeking an experienced driver to manage corporate vehicles, ensure absolute passenger safety, perform routine mechanical inspections, and uphold the bank’s stellar public image on the roads of Addis Ababa.

• Position Title: Driver I (1 Position): This is a highly responsible logistical role operating on a contractual basis within the capital city. The salary will be determined strictly based on Dashen Bank’s attractive corporate salary scale. The successful candidate will be tasked with executive and staff transport, secure document delivery, and maintaining the flawless mechanical condition of assigned corporate vehicles.
• Educational Qualifications & Technical Background: To ensure the highest level of mechanical competence and road safety, the bank has set strict educational prerequisites. Applicants must have successfully completed the former 12th-grade curriculum. Alternatively, applicants who have completed the new 10th-grade curriculum or possess a 10+1 certification specifically in Auto Mechanics or Automotive Technology are highly eligible. This ensures the driver has a fundamental understanding of vehicle maintenance, engine diagnostics, and preventative mechanical care.
• Driving License Requirements: Adherence to national traffic laws and proper certification is absolutely mandatory. Applicants must hold a valid and verified Ethiopian driving license. Acceptable license categories for this role include a Level 4 or Level 3 Driving License, OR a Public 1 or Public 2 Driving License. The license must be entirely up to date and free of severe traffic violation records.
• Professional Experience: Candidates must firmly demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of relevant, active driving experience. This experience must be formally documented and verifiable, proving the applicant’s capability to navigate complex urban environments safely, handle varying driving conditions, and manage a corporate vehicle with the utmost care and responsibility.
