Key Responsibilities
Design and develop structural systems for civil and architectural projects. Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate structural requirements. Conduct detailed analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Prepare and review technical drawings and specifications. Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet client expectations. Participate in site visits and inspections to resolve design issues. Coordinate with construction teams during project implementation. Utilize design software to create innovative structural solutions. Document design processes and maintain organized project records.
Required Software Skills
ETABS – Mandatory SAFE – Mandatory SAP2000 – Strong advantage AutoCAD – Mandatory Microsoft Excel & Word – Mandatory
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized Ethiopian or international university. Experience : Minimum 3–5 years in structural design for buildings. Skills : Structural design expertise Analytical thinking and problem‑solving Teamwork and collaboration Attention to detail Strong communication skills
