Position Summary
The Communication & Social Media Intern will support Addis Guzo’s communication and visibility efforts by creating engaging digital content, managing social media platforms, and documenting organizational activities. This internship provides hands‑on experience in nonprofit communication and disability inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
Capture and edit photos/videos during events, trainings, and field activities. Design graphics and promotional materials using Canva and other tools. Create engaging social media content (captions, posts, stories). Schedule and publish content across organizational platforms. Support event coverage and documentation. Maintain organized digital archives of communication content.
Qualifications & Requirements
Hands‑on training and proficiency in Canva and basic photo/video editing software. Excellent written and spoken English. Strong creativity, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Passion for nonprofit work and disability inclusion.
