1. Accountant – Junior Position
Job Location: Mizan Teferi, Arba Minch, Debre Berhan, Dire Dawa, Wolkite, Dessie, Jigjiga, and Wolaita Sodo
Job Summary
The Accountant will support accurate financial transaction processing, daily reconciliations, financial reporting, member account management, and related branch activities. The role also involves supporting member education, savings mobilization, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Process savings, withdrawals, transfers, loan repayments, and other transactions accurately. Issue official receipts for transactions. Enter transaction data into the ERP or core banking system. Conduct daily bank and member account reconciliations. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial statements and performance reports. Open and maintain member accounts. Respond to member inquiries and provide appropriate assistance. Educate members about financial products and digital services. Support savings and deposit mobilization activities. Participate in marketing campaigns and community outreach activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Experience: 0–2 years of core accounting experience in financial institutions.
2. Member Services Officer – Intermediate Position
Job Location: Shashemene, Hosanna, Gondar, Mizan Teferi, Arba Minch, Debre Berhan, Dire Dawa, Wolkite, Dessie, Jigjiga, Wolaita Sodo, Bonga, Harar, Semera, Bishoftu (Debrezeyit), and Shakiso
Job Summary
The Member Services Officer will support member onboarding, KYC compliance, customer engagement, grievance handling, financial product promotion, and member retention.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for new members and provide onboarding support. Verify member registration documents in accordance with KYC, AML, and applicable cooperative requirements. Explain member rights, obligations, and available products. Manage member engagement and support member retention. Identify member needs and promote relevant financial products. Handle member grievances and follow up on their resolution. Support localized financial literacy programs. Educate members about information security, transaction safety, internal controls, and digital security. Maintain effective relationships with members.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Cooperative Management, Marketing, Management, Accounting, or a related business field.
Experience: 2–3 years of relevant customer-facing or front-office experience in financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct credit risk analysis and appraisal of loan applications. Evaluate collateral associated with loan applications. Manage the loan process from disbursement through recovery. Support new member acquisition and institutional savings growth through outreach and marketing activities. Monitor loan performance and identify potential default risks. Implement appropriate recovery and collection activities when required. Provide members with information on financial literacy, loan options, and savings products. Collaborate with Financial Mobilization, Finance, and Member Services teams to support member service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
