About the Role
AeTrade Group is implementing the Integrated MSME Handholding and Business Growth Project to empower SMEs, youth-led enterprises, women-led businesses, cooperatives, and producers. The Business Development Unit ensures effective MSME onboarding, vendor acquisition, market activation, digital financial inclusion, and job creation through Sokokuu Africa, AeTrust, AeLearning, AeLogistics, AeBusMedia, and Digital Trade Advisors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead zone-level planning, coordination, and supervision of business development activities.
Supervise Business Development Officers, Sales Experts, Marketing Experts,
handholding teams, and field agents.
Drive MSME onboarding, vendor acquisition, platform activation, and market expansion.
Build partnerships with local government, cooperatives, financial institutions, and community stakeholders.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports and track KPIs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), 5–7 years’ experience in business development/sales/field operations, 2–3 years supervisory experience, fluency in Amharic.
