Position: Project Coordinator – FSSP Ethiopia
Job Summary
The Project Coordinator will coordinate the delivery of services under the Field Support Services Project (FSSP) in Ethiopia, supporting Canada’s international assistance program. Responsibilities include technical, administrative, financial, and logistical support to ensure effective program delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Source and coordinate human resources/contractors for technical expertise. Maintain and update project information (schedules, reports, correspondence). Support planning, analysis, evaluation, and prioritization of deliverables. Conduct research, extract relevant information, and prepare summaries. Coordinate logistical services (missions, travel, accommodation, transportation). Facilitate project reviews and lessons learned. Ensure compliance with local laws and HR practices.
Qualifications & Experience
University degree in Political Science, Law, International Development, Economics, Finance, Business/Public Administration, Project Management, or Social Sciences. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator/Manager. Experience working with international development stakeholders (government, donors, NGOs, international organizations). Proven track record managing projects in Africa (minimum 2 projects valued at CAD $2M+). Strong knowledge of Ethiopian context preferred. Proficiency in English (oral, reading, writing).
