Position: Field Monitoring Assistant (SC‑4)
Role Purpose
Under the supervision of the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, the Field Monitoring Assistant will conduct monitoring activities to ensure effective delivery of WFP’s food and non‑food assistance packages, maintain accurate records, and provide reports that support programme reviews and decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor food and non‑food distributions and report issues or risks. Conduct food basket monitoring to ensure compliance with WFP standards. Maintain updated monitoring records and documentation. Support development of M&E plans and tools. Liaise with partners and internal teams to gather feedback. Prepare field mission reports and contribute to programme reviews. Support capacity building initiatives for cooperating partners. Follow emergency response procedures for food assistance.
