1. Civil Engineer
ICS 08 (Associate)
0 – 2 Years Experience
Deadline: June 11, 2026
Project Context: The Civil Engineer will manage and supervise infrastructure works, specifically focusing on the new Gazanche Primary School construction project in the Gurage Zone. This project aims to provide a safe, inclusive, and climate-resilient learning environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, or related fields. (A Master’s degree is also accepted).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, OR 0 years of experience with a Master’s degree.
- Key Responsibilities: Plan and supervise civil engineering projects; coordinate day-to-day design and construction activities; conduct on-site technical assessments; ensure strict compliance with HSSE and PSEAH standards.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Amharic.
2. Programme Management Officer
ICS 08 (Associate)
1 – 2 Years Experience
Deadline: June 04, 2026
Role Context: The Programme Management Officer will play a crucial role in facilitating the development of new business and partnership relationships between UNOPS and its partners, actively working to expand UNOPS presence in Ethiopia.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce, Marketing, Economics, Management, International Affairs, or related fields. (A Master’s degree is also accepted).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in donor relations and/or business development with a Bachelor’s degree, OR 1 year of experience with a Master’s degree.
- Key Responsibilities: Conduct market research on donor aid flows; develop strategic proposals and capacity statements; assist in the preparation of project documents, legal agreements, and budgets; coordinate corporate initiatives.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Amharic.
