Position: Digital Marketing Officer
Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Officer will manage Unicaf’s online presence in Ethiopia, create engaging content, and drive strategic campaigns to enhance brand visibility and student engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to strengthen brand presence. Plan, execute, and manage paid campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms. Design and curate localized content calendars for Facebook and Instagram with daily posts. Analyse and report on social media performance metrics. Collaborate with the Marketing Team to align social media initiatives with broader campaigns. Monitor industry trends and emerging platforms to keep strategies current. Conduct competitor analysis to identify insights and opportunities. Source and engage local influencers and websites for collaborations.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Digital Marketing Officer or similar role. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Experience with digital advertising and analytics tools. Ability to manage multiple projects independently. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
