Position: Compliance Officer

• Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized university. This is a mandatory requirement.
• Experience: At least two (2) years of relevant experience in compliance monitoring, legal affairs, regulatory compliance, internal control, corporate governance, or policy implementation.
• Practical experience reviewing organizational policies, manuals, SOPs, and management decisions and assessing their implementation.
• Knowledge of applicable Ethiopian laws and the regulatory environment relevant to insurance brokerage and financial services, including National Bank of Ethiopia directives.
• Strong analytical, inspection, documentation, and report-writing skills, with the ability to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
• High integrity, professional judgment, objectivity, confidentiality, and effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in insurance, insurance, financial services, or another regulated business environment.
• Relevant professional training or certification in compliance, risk management, internal control, or auditing.
