About the Role
The Spare Parts Coordinator is responsible for managing spare parts inventory, procurement coordination, issuance, and stock control for service operations. The role ensures availability of parts, accurate inventory records, and efficient support to service engineers and workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of spare parts stock
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation
Parts Issuance & Control
Issue spare parts to technicians based on approved job cards
Track movement of parts between warehouse, workshop, and field
Prevent stock losses, misuse, or discrepancies
Procurement Coordination
Coordinate with procurement team for ordering required parts
Follow up on delivery timelines and supplier performance
Maintain updated supplier and part catalogs
System & Documentation
Update inventory records in ERP/SAP or stock management system
Maintain proper documentation for all stock movements
Generate stock and usage reports
Operational Support
Support service team with urgent parts requirements
Ensure availability of critical and fast-moving items
Assist in identifying slow-moving and obsolete stock
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
2–4 years of experience in inventory or spare parts management
Skills & Competencies
Strong inventory control and stock management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of ERP/SAP systems preferred
Basic understanding of technical spare parts (advantage)
Organizational and reporting skills
Integrity and accountability in stock handling
