Sivatex IT Solutions is seeking a motivated and customer-centric Junior Systems Engineer to join our growing team in Addis Ababa. This role bridges the gap between IT infrastructure and customer success. You will provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and guide clients through technical solutions both remotely and on-site at customer offices.

Position: Junior Systems Engineer (Customer Support)

Required Qualifications & Competencies

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 0–2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a technical customer service environment.
• Language: Very good command of English (verbal and written) is strictly required.
• OS Knowledge: Foundational hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows Server or Linux environments.
• Networking: Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional patience, active listening, and the ability to handle high-pressure customer situations calmly.
• Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel to various client offices within Addis Ababa as needed.

Preferred Skills (Advantageous)

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+/Security+, CCNA, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).
