Role description
The Senior Fleet Analyst at National Transport PLC plays a vital role in optimizing fleet operations within the Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Distribution sector. This full-time position requires a mid-level professional with 3-5 years of experience, based in our Addis Ababa office. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing fleet performance data, implementing improvements, and ensuring efficient resource allocation to meet company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze fleet performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance fleet efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely servicing and repairs of vehicles.
Monitor fuel consumption and implement measures to optimize fuel efficiency.
Prepare detailed reports on fleet performance and present findings to management.
Collaborate with supply chain teams to align fleet operations with logistics requirements.
Manage relationships with vendors and service providers for fleet-related services.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues affecting fleet operations.
Train and mentor junior analysts and support staff on fleet management practices.
