Job Purpose
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth, market share, and profitability within the assigned region. The role leads Area Sales Managers, distributor networks, and sales teams to ensure effective execution of sales strategies, distribution excellence, customer satisfaction, and achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1.  Achieve regional sales, volume, distribution, and profitability targets
2. Drive primary and secondary sales performance across all channels.
3. Lead, coach, and manage Area Sales Managers and distributor sales teams.
4. Monitor sales KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
5. Ensure effective distributor management, including stock control, forecasting, credit management, and profitability.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and customers
7.  Conduct regular sales reviews and business performance evaluations.
8 Ensure timely order fulfillment and product availability across the region.
9. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
10. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production teams to support accurate demand forecasting and sales planning.
11. Prepare and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly business plans.
12.  Monitor regional sales reports and provide actionable recommendations to improve business performance.
Qualification and Experience
-  BA Degree in Sales & Marketing Management, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant FMCG sales experience.
- At least 4 years of experience as an Area Sales Manager or 2 year of experience as a Regional Sales Manager.
- Proven experience in distributor management, sales operations, and team leadership.
