Plant Manager at Get-As International PLC

Sons Industries Plc is a company, which is engaged in paint and water manufacturing. Global paint is looking to hire a candidate to fill the following vacant position. Key criteria for evaluation: 1. Technical & Industry Expertise Coatings & Chemical Manufacturing Knowledge: Deep understanding of paint manufacturing processes, including high-speed dispersion, bead milling, color matching, resin synthesis, tinting systems, and batch processing (both water-based/emulsion and solvent-based/alkyd paints). Raw Material & Supply Chain Familiarity: Familiarity with sourcing core raw materials (titanium dioxide, resins, solvents, extenders, biocides, and additives) and managing international/local supply chain volatility. Formulation & Quality Control Awareness: Ability to oversee Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) standards, ensuring batch-to-batch color consistency, viscosity control, shelf-life stability, and coverage performance. About You Category Requirement Specification Education •       Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or Materials Engineering. •       Master of Business Administration (MBA) or M.Sc. in Chemical Operations preferred. Technical Expertise •       Deep knowledge of batch processing for water-based emulsions and solvent-based alkyds. •       Proficiency in batch-manufacturing ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent MRP systems). •       High-speed dispersion, bead mills, automatic tinting, and high-speed filling line technology. Experience •       10 to 15+ years of progressive experience in chemical manufacturing, paint, or liquid coatings. •       5+ years in senior management (Plant Manager, Operations Director, or General Manager).In paint factory Certifications •       OSHA Chemical Safety Certification. •       Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt. Key Competencies •       Profit & Loss management and financial modeling. •       Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and labor management. •       Root-cause problem solving and process engineering mindset.
