1️⃣ Logistics Assistant – Warehouse & Asset
Location: Wadera – West Guji Type of Role: Full‑time, Fixed Term Reports To: Health and Nutrition Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
Manage warehouse operations including receiving, storing, issuing, and securing supplies. Handle GIK commodities (RUSF, CSB++, etc.) in line with Plan International SOPs and WFP standards. Ensure FEFO/FIFO stock management and accurate receipt via LESS Last Mile. Maintain stock records, prepare reports, and conduct regular inventory checks. Track and manage fixed assets and ensure proper documentation. Support program teams with timely warehouse services. Ensure compliance with safeguarding and GEI policies.
Qualifications
BA/Diploma in Business Administration, Purchasing & Supplies Management, or related fields. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience , preferably in INGO warehousing or stock control. Strong MS Office skills; knowledge of bookkeeping and stock reporting. Ability to work independently, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of Afaan Oromoo is an added advantage.
2️⃣ Temporary People & Culture Assistant
Location: Gambella Program Area Field Office Type of Role: Temporary (3 months, extendable) Reports To: People and Culture Officer
Key Responsibilities
Staff Data Management & Filing
Collect required documents from new joiners and maintain personnel files. Prepare contracts, letters, and HR documentation. Track probation periods, contract end dates, and clearances. Update HRIS and support audits with accurate staff data.
Recruitment & Onboarding Support
Assist with vacancy posting, candidate communication, and scheduling. Coordinate assessments, interviews, and documentation. Maintain recruitment, reference, and onboarding trackers. Organize onboarding activities and ensure checklist completion.
Induction & Objective Setting
Coordinate induction programs and mandatory training. Ensure job descriptions are updated and archived. Follow up on HRIS forms, dependent information, and medical cases.
Administrative Support
Collect and verify monthly timesheets. Support contract extensions and pension registration.
Qualifications
Diploma in Personnel Management, Administration, or related fields. Minimum 3 years of HR experience . Knowledge of HR practices, NGO operations, and child protection issues. Strong MS Word and Excel skills; ability to prioritize tasks. Strong communication, calm under pressure, and able to work with minimal supervision.
