People and Culture Specialist (Payroll)
to join our team.
Key Purpose Statement:
The People and Culture Specialist  (Payroll ) is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of employee payroll in alignment with company policies and local labor regulations. The role supports the integrity of employee compensation data, provides reliable payroll services to employees, and works closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations and reporting.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Administration & Support
Prepare and validate payroll inputs, including attendance, leave, overtime, and allowances
Coordinate with Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely salary processing
Review payroll outputs and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
2. Payroll Processing & Compliance
Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing in line with company policies and local labor laws
Support payroll compliance and ensure timely submission of statutory reports
3. Employee Data Management
Maintain and update employee payroll records including salaries, benefits, allowances, and deductions
Ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll-related HR data
4. Employee Support & Query Handling
Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related inquiries (salary, deductions, overtime, benefits)
Provide timely and professional responses to employee and manager queries
5. Reporting & Reconciliation
Prepare payroll, compensation, and statutory reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis
Reconcile payroll accounts and support month-end and year-end closing activities
6. Process Improvement & Coordination
Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and system efficiency
Assist in payroll system updates, automation, and standardization initiatives
7. Confidentiality & Compliance
Ensure strict confidentiality of employee payroll and compensation data
Maintain secure handling and storage of sensitive HR information
Ensure full compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
BA Degree in Accounting and Finance or related field.
Experience:
3–5 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including payroll administration, reconciliation, and use of HRIS/payroll systems
Strong knowledge of local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliance with experience supporting payroll audits and reporting
