PANA DM trading PLC is a private shoe manufacturing factory and seeking qualified and experienced professionals to hire in the following the positions:-

PANA DM Trading PLC is looking for a motivated Junior Chemist to support laboratory testing, quality control, production activities, regulatory compliance, and technical documentation.

Position: JUNIOR CHEMIST

Requirements

• BSc in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good laboratory, numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical/chemical regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn.
• Able to work in both laboratory and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct basic chemical and physical testing of raw materials, production materials, and finished products.
• Prepare samples, reagents, and laboratory solutions and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Record, review, and report test results accurately.
• Support production quality inspections, material checks, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain laboratory, production, and quality-control documentation.
• Ensure proper chemical handling, labeling, storage, PPE use, and waste disposal.
• Assist with EFDA regulatory activities, including license renewals, submissions, documentation, inspections, and regulatory follow-up.
• Assist with product/company licensing, renewals, registrations, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Procurement, management, and relevant regulatory authorities.
• Perform other technical, quality, production, and regulatory duties assigned by management.

Preference may be given to candidates living around Summit, Hayat, Tafo, and nearby areas. Candidates must be able to commute reliably to the Bulga/Tulefa worksite.

Salary: As per the company salary scale, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Location: Bulga, Tulefa, Addis Ababa
