About the Role
AeTrade Group is seeking an experienced and field-oriented MSME Onboarding and Vendor Success Lead to recruit, onboard, train, activate, and retain vendors on Sokokuu Marketplace.
This role goes beyond registering MSMEs. The successful candidate will ensure that MSMEs, cooperatives, producers, youth-led enterprises, women-led businesses, manufacturers, exporters, and service providers become digitally visible, market-ready, finance-ready, and commercially active on the platform.
The role sits at the intersection of the Development Track and Commercial Track, ensuring that vendors are supported to grow while also contributing to marketplace transactions and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement vendor onboarding and activation strategies.
Identify and recruit MSMEs, cooperatives, producer groups, manufacturers, exporters, youth-led enterprises, women-led businesses, and service providers.
Coordinate onboarding campaigns with public institutions, banks, chambers of commerce, cooperatives, associations, universities, development partners, and field teams.
Support vendor verification, business profiling, digital storefront creation, product categorization, and product uploads.
Train vendors on platform use, pricing, order management, payments, customer service, and logistics processes.
Coordinate with AeLearning on digital literacy, business development, financial literacy, and marketplace-readiness training.
Coordinate with AeTrust to support vendor adoption of digital payments, wallets, transaction records, and finance-readiness tools.
Monitor vendor activation, retention, seller performance, product upload quality, and transaction activity
Required Profile
Bachelor’s degree in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, digital commerce, development studies, or a related field.
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in MSME development, vendor onboarding, enterprise support, e-commerce, entrepreneurship training, or digital platform activation.
Strong understanding of MSME realities, vendor support, digital commerce, payments, logistics, and enterprise development.
