– Moodle Developer (Junior Technical support 2)
We are looking for a skilled Moodle Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid programming background and be comfortable working with Moodle-based systems.
Job Description
The Moodle Developer (Junior Technical Support 2) is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and customizing Moodle-based Learning Management Systems (LMS). The role includes providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, developing Moodle features and customizations, and ensuring the smooth operation of Moodle environments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide Level 2 technical support for Moodle platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve Moodle-related issues
Assist in Moodle theme and plugin development/customization
Support Moodle upgrades, configurations, and maintenance
Develop responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Assist with Linux server and Apache administration tasks
Test, debug, and validate system enhancements and fixes
Document technical issues and solutions
Collaborate with team members to implement and support solutions
Escalate complex issues when required and ensure timely resolution
Education Requirements
0–2 years of experience in Moodle development, web development, or technical support
Experience or familiarity with Moodle themes, plugins, and customizations
Experience troubleshooting technical issues and providing user support
Experience working with Linux server environments and Apache web servers is an advantage
Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
Basic understanding of web development concepts
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Programming background with a willingness to learn Moodle development and administration
