About the Role
AeTrade Group is seeking a practical, organized, and execution-oriented Marketplace Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of Sokokuu Marketplace.
The Marketplace Operations Manager will ensure that Sokokuu operates as a reliable, transaction-ready, and customer-focused marketplace. The role will manage vendor activities, buyer journeys, product listings, orders, payments, logistics coordination, customer support, issue resolution, and operational workflows.
This position is central to the Commercial Track of Sokokuu Marketplace and will support the platform’s ability to generate transactions, improve user experience, and strengthen marketplace trust.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily marketplace operations, including vendors, buyers, listings, orders, payments, logistics, and support cases.
Develop and implement marketplace operating procedures.
Monitor product listing quality, order completion, customer complaints, vendor performance, and buyer experience.
Coordinate with technology teams to improve platform functionality and user experience.
Work with logistics partners to support fulfilment, delivery coordination, returns, and last-mile linkages.
Coordinate with AeTrust and finance teams on payments, merchant transactions, wallet usage, and settlement-related issues.
Track operational KPIs and prepare regular reports for management.
Required Profile
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, ecommerce, logistics, digital business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in operations, e-commerce, marketplace management, logistics coordination, customer support, or digital platform operations.
Strong problem-solving, coordination, reporting, and customer service skills.
