Role description

To plan, schedule, coordinate, monitor, and follow up all preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment availability, reliability, efficiency, and compliance with organizational maintenance standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Maintenance Planning
Prepare annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily maintenance plans.
Develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
Coordinate maintenance activities with production and other departments to minimize downtime.
Review maintenance requests and prioritize work orders based on urgency and operational requirements.
Prepare maintenance shutdown and turnaround plans.
Maintenance Follow-up and Monitoring
Monitor implementation of maintenance plans and schedules.
Follow up maintenance work orders to ensure timely completion.
Track equipment downtime, breakdown frequency, and maintenance performance indicators.
Verify completion and quality of maintenance activities.
Conduct regular follow-up inspections on completed maintenance work.
Work Order Management
Create, update, and maintain maintenance work orders.
Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history records.
Maintain maintenance databases and filing systems.
Generate periodic maintenance performance reports.
Spare Parts and Resource Coordination
Coordinate with stores and procurement units regarding spare parts requirements.
Monitor inventory levels of critical spare parts and maintenance materials.
Assist in forecasting spare parts and maintenance resource requirements.
Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and materials required for planned maintenance.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Analyze maintenance data and identify trends in equipment failures.
Prepare maintenance KPI reports such as:
Equipment Availability
Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF)
Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
Preventive Maintenance Compliance
Maintenance Cost Analysis
Recommend improvement actions based on maintenance performance analysis.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in reliability improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Support implementation of maintenance best practices and continuous improvement programs.
Identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
Assist in root cause analysis of recurring equipment failures.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance
Ensure maintenance activities comply with occupational health and safety requirements.
Promote safe work practices during maintenance operations.
Support implementation of environmental management procedures and standards.
Other Responsibilities
Participate in maintenance meetings and planning sessions.
Provide technical support and information to maintenance personnel.
Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Education
Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / or a related field,
Experience
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning, maintenance coordination, industrial maintenance, or equipment management.
Experience in manufacturing, processing, or industrial environments is preferred.
