About the Role
Land for Life Ethiopia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Communication and Project Officer to lead communication strategies and manage project operations. This role is central to enhancing the organization’s visibility, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and ensuring effective project delivery.
Position: Communication and Project Officer
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement communication and advocacy strategies. Manage media relations, social media, content creation, and public relations. Provide strategic advice to senior management on communication and project management. Build strong relationships with government bodies, NGOs, and media organizations. Monitor and evaluate communication strategies and project outcomes. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Prepare and manage communication budgets.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Project Management, International Relations, Law, or related fields (Master’s preferred). Experience: Minimum 7 years in advocacy communication, project management, or related fields. Proven track record in managing large‑scale campaigns and complex projects. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Experience in multicultural environments and resource mobilization is highly desirable.
