Role description

K.Mikedem General Import and Export and sister companies(KKGW, KROTAJ and PORCHLIGHT) are looking for qualified applicants for the following job position.

Our company has been engaged in a highly successful import and export business for the past twenty plus years in Ethiopia. The company has been exporting sesame, oilseeds and spices.

The company works with its core social responsibility model that is embedded in its business model. The company is the primary importer of home supply materials, specifically Media Electronics, from other countries..

Position 1: cashier

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing ,sales ,Accounting ,Business administration ,Management ,or a related filed.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with cashier or customer service experience are an added advantage.

Requirements

  • Previous cashier or retail experience is an advantage (but not required)
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Trustworthy and able to handle cash responsibly
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays (if needed)
  • Basic computer/POS knowledge (training can be provided)

Place of Work: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Sales

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing ,sales ,Business administration ,Management ,or a related filed.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with sales experience in home appliance encouraged to apply.

equirements

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets
  • Good negotiation and customer handling skills
  • Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, CRM)
  • Sales experience is an advantage (training may be provided)
