Job Summary
Obor Import Export is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Human Resource Officer, preferably with experience in solar, electronics, electric vehicle (EV), or logistics companies. The role will support daily HR operations, with a focus on recruitment, workforce coordination, and administrative efficiency in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in recruitment for technical and operational roles (sales, logistics, warehouse, technicians, etc.)
Screen CVs, coordinate interviews, and support candidate evaluation processes
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR databases
Manage attendance, leave tracking, and staff reporting systems
Support onboarding and induction programs for new hires
Assist in implementing HR policies and ensuring compliance with Ethiopian labor law
Coordinate with department heads to support staffing needs and workforce planning
Support performance tracking and employee evaluations
Assist in organizing trainings and internal communications
Handle general HR administrative tasks efficiently
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field
1–3 years of HR experience (experience in solar, electronics, EV, or logistics companies is highly preferred)
Familiarity with hiring for technical and field-based roles is an advantage
Basic understanding of Ethiopian labor law and HR best practices
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for tracking and reporting)

Reports to: HR Manager
