International Clinical Laboratories (ICL) is recruiting qualified applicants for four positions in its Business Development Department, with opportunities in Addis Ababa and Debre Markos.

According to the vacancy announcement, ICL is the only laboratory in Ethiopia accredited by the USA-based Joint Commission International (JCI) five times consecutively and provides more than 300 advanced diagnostic tests.

ICL is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
1. Specimen Collection Technician
Location: Addis Ababa
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with 0 years of work experience and a renewed professional license. Alternatively, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with 2 years of work experience and a renewed professional license.
Required Skills
Competent phlebotomy and specimen collection skills. Excellent communication and listening skills, including the ability to use positive language. Strong time-management skills. Willingness to improve and commitment to self-development. Proficiency in Amharic, English, and other local languages.
2. Client Service Representative
Location: Addis Ababa
Qualification and Experience
BSc degree in a health-related field, preferably Medical Laboratory. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Required Skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to work independently and take accountability for assigned responsibilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet established deadlines. High level of honesty and integrity.
3. Receptionist/Clerk
Location: Debre Markos
Qualification and Experience
Degree in Health Science or Accounting. Ability to communicate effectively in Amharic, English, and other local languages. Proven experience in customer communication and handling. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a reception-related role.
Required Competencies
Professionalism. Effective verbal communication. Ability to handle pressure. Customer service skills. Adaptability. Confidentiality. Telephone communication skills. Microsoft Office skills. Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with staff members.
4. CSC Supervisor
Location: Debre Markos
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Management or a health-related field. More than 2 years of experience in a similar role. Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
Required Skills
Computer literacy and basic office software skills. Competent phlebotomy and specimen collection skills. Excellent communication and listening skills, including the ability to use positive language. Attentiveness, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving abilities. Strong time-management skills. Good coordination and supervision capabilities. Leadership and teamwork skills. Willingness to improve and commitment to self-development. Proficiency in Amharic and English.
