Job Summary
Obor Import Export is looking for an experienced Import Department Head to manage and oversee all import operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end import processes
Manage import documentation and ensure compliance with Ethiopian regulations
Coordinate with banks (LC, TT, CAD) and suppliers
Monitor shipments and resolve clearance issues
Control import costs (freight, duties, taxes)
Lead and supervise the import team
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in import/export, with leadership experience
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian customs and import procedures
Experience with LC and foreign payment processes
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
